I use these to start fires in the fire place. They work well & get the fire wood burning within minutes. Nice steady flame & burn about 15 minutes before going out. They burn up completely, nothing left over, no smell & easy to use. Put under the wood grate & light, easy. I originally purchased on a lighting deal for a great price. Went to reorder more but the price is border line to the fire starter match stick which will light off the side of the box, no lighter required. We take these camping for our campfires. They work well but I do see more of the “stuff” in the cups fall out so I have had to repack some of the cups. But it does catch fire quickly. Read more
These are the best, quite literally. I've spent many years camping and have had to start many fires. Using these to start fires makes it super easy. I've used over 150 of these and won't buy anything else now. They light very easily, just catch a bit of flame over a few of the exposed shavings and it's going. They easily burn over 10 minutes with a real good flame the whole time. 15 minutes of burn time is real. I don't even need kindling anymore most of the time. It's great to just light one of these and stack some good firewood around it. I've had a few people ask what fire starter I use after seeing me just light it and basically walk away only coming back later when it needs more wood. Also, I've had them left open for long periods in a camper and they light no problem later. It's all wax dipped. Buying from the company seems to be supporting a good cause as well. I don't see how anyone could go wrong buying these.
