In a nutshell this cardigan jacket is perfection and far exceeded my expectations. I immediately went back and bought another color. Sizing: I am typically a size XL however based on measurements I ordered a size large and love the fit. (38D, size 14 waist, broad shoulders) Sizing down gives a more tailored cardigan/jacket appearance which is great for the office. If you intend to where this as an outer layer or prefer a more roomy fit I’d stay with your true size. Even with sizing down though you can see in the photos there is still extra room throughout. Color: Exactly as advertised and a gorgeous taupe/gray. Style: there is tailoring in this cut which creates a great silhouette. The style is like a bomber jacket with more upscale elements like the jacquard fabric and gold hardware. This piece is very versatile and can easily be worn casually or dressed up. Fabric: the sweater fabric is a jacquard so the print is stitched directly into the fabric. Last Pic shows the inside of the jacket which is not lined consistent with this item being classified as a cardigan. It is midweight and very well constructed. The ribbing details at hem, sleeve and neckline are double thickness. Quality: the quality is very good. Pics of the detailing around hems and encasement of the zipper. Ordered this sweater a few months back in grey and absolutely loved it. I reordered it now in a different color. The weight of the sweater is perfect for spring cooler weather. I was so excited to get this, but found that I haven't reached for it. I think this has more to do with my errors in ordering than it does with the item. I still love the concept of this bomber style sweater, but I wish I'd ordered it in a different size and color. First: the sizing. I think I should have sized down. The chart recommends a small if you're a 4 or 6, and a medium if you're an 8 or 10. I'm between a 6 and an 8. I usually size up if I'm between sizes, but this medium is roomy on me and I think that makes it look a tiny bit frumpy on my frame. The smaller one might have been more youthful (which goes with the bomber style, I think) and more flattering. (For reference, I’m 28 or 29” at the waist, 38” at the hip, and I usually wear a 34C bra. I’m 5’8” and weigh around 140 pounds.) Second: this color. I was excited about this too because teal is special and uncommon! But I've discovered the reason for this: teal clashes with some jeans. So you can't throw a teal sweater on with any old bottoms. As much as I love this color, I think it would have been easier to wear any of the other options. But I really do love the concept. You don't see a bomber sweater very often, so it's a special thing to have! Hopefully I can find some navy bottoms that will look good with it! Ok I love you bye! Read more
