We have a 4 month old Aussie mix that is sweet as pie and full of life! When it comes to clipping her nails though, you'd think we were seriously trying to harm her. She gets so vicious! Full on snarls, bites hard..anything she can get her mouth on...your fingers, arm, chin....and the headbutts are incredible. She'll have you seeing stars and maybe your future too! My husband can't even contain her. The power this pup has! We've tried wrapping a towel around her to hold in limbs, doesn't work. I've tried placing a peanut butter lick mat in front of her like I do when I brush her, doesn't work. I've tried distracting her with other food, doesn't work. You name it! Nothing is working. It's so stressful and can I say rather traumatizing on everyone, not to mention WE get a stern talking to from her afterwards. LOL. There has to be a better way. So as a last ditch effort I got on Amazon and found this. I was skeptical even with all the positive reviews, but knew we needed to do something. IT WORKS! Holy cheeseballs! Got it in the mail, ripped the package open. Hubby set up a ladder, grabbed a random pole out in the yard that literally had to have been sitting to the side waiting to shine for this very moment to put her on. She fought us a bit getting her into the harness, not bad but she knew something was up. He then held her up on one side of the ladder while I tried to clip her to the pole standing on the other side...maaaybe slightly squinting from some of the apprehension while silently praying to the puppy gods that this works when he begins to tell me, "If you can ever get her clipped in we'll know." to which I replied "I'm nervous!" and then he said, "It would really help if you'd stop squinting and mumbling incoherent words and just get it done." I rolled my eyes. Lol. I got her clipped in and stood back slightly. I was on the edge of my seat like I'm watching the 1960's Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho waiting for her reaction. Well, she just dangled there, tried to swim in the air some, fussed at us but in the end....just dangled. :) I would do a paw and reward with a treat and lots of praises. I said all of this to let you know, it works! It took us maybe 5 minutes and all we got in the end was a simple huff from her. Got her down and got lots of puppy kisses! Worth every penny in my books! I would buy again and again and I'm even contemplating putting my other fur baby in this sling to see if it calms him down even further. A win win! Update: 8/25 Trimmed nails again, trying to stay on top of it and get her used to it. She knew this time what was coming....but didn't put up much of a fight. I brought out her treats and we worked through it, still so much better than before! I did a treat per nail instead of paw and I would wait until she calmed down before moving on. I will say she moved a bit more on this one. I did get my other fur baby in it, worked like a charm! So easy. He got lots of praise and treats too. Read more

The Supet Dog Grooming Hammock is a practical tool for grooming small dogs and cats, designed to make the process easier for both pets and their owners. For my little 10 lb dog, the hammock proved to be effective, even if he wasn't a fan of it. Setting up the hammock was straightforward, and it provided a secure way to keep my dog still while grooming. The fabric is durable and supportive, ensuring he felt safe despite his initial reluctance. Once in the hammock, it allowed me to access hard-to-reach areas, making grooming tasks like nail trimming and fur brushing much more manageable. While my dog was not particularly fond of the experience—showing some resistance initially—it's clear that the hammock does its job well. It kept him stable, which is a significant advantage when trying to groom a wiggly pet. The adjustable straps are a nice touch, accommodating different sizes and providing a comfortable fit. This grooming hammock is a great investment for pet owners who want to simplify grooming sessions. Although it may take some time for pets to get used to it, the benefits of having a secure and efficient grooming solution are undeniable. If you're looking for a practical way to groom your small dog or cat, this hammock is worth considering. Read more

We have been using this little harness for about a year now, on our Tibetan spaniel. Our little dog is a bit moody when it come to nail trims and sanitary cuts. This harness has been helpful, and the fit is usable but a little off. Clearly that depends on your dogs body type, so take measurements and think it through. We both find that this harness goes on easily, and has held together just fine. Our little dog is rather solid and therefore heavy for his size. The construction of the harness is very basic, and a little uneven, but it’s also very inexpensive. There is not much to adjust so again check the size chart and measure your pup. It’s not fancy, but for us it does the trick well enough. Read more

This make doing your dogs nail a breeze. Make sure to measure your dog to get the best fit. My 20 lb dog fits the medium size but the neck part has to folded back. The nail accessories and fur comb are also a nice addition even though I don’t place to use them. The material is sturdy and soft and well made. Providing you have a strong bar to suspend your pet from this will work perfectly. Read more

This is a 2 person job unless your dog weighs less than 5lbs! I don’t recommend for dogs 15lbs or over as I don’t think the shower rod will withhold the weight! However, when I finally got my dog hanging in it, it worked great! I was able to cut his nails with no issues. Dog is about 10lbs. If your dog is spastic, don’t leave them alone as I feel like they could get out of it and fall. Read more

OMG this sling is a miracle! My dog is FAS 5/5 at the vet. For nail trims he needs pre-meds. He is scared to death of restraining. He will poop and pee on himself and scream until he's cyanotic. I got this last night and needed to use it asap because he has rare rear dewclaws that grow in a circle so they try to grow into the pad. I got the sling put it on the couchtried it on him like a shirt and gave him treats while it was around him. Then today I hung it from the door with a strap. Put him in and he sat there! He tried to lift the front legs out, but couldn't. He did two little growls saying hey I don't know what's going on. Then I trimmed his rear dewclaws with zero issues! No thrashing, growiling, biting, pooping or peeing for my poor baby! I would give this 10 stars if I could! He's about 20 lbs Shih Tzu Yorkie and has a stocky body. I got Small it was perfect. I took a strap off my ratchet strap put it through the carabeaners that it comes with and put a knot in it and put the knot outside the house and shut the door and locked it. It held perfectly.
