I have recently installed a walk-in shower in my home and spent a great deal of time doing it myself. It had fiberglass walls that are glued to the wall that "simulate tile". Due to "leak issues" I did not want to drill into the walls to install some "hooks" that I might need to "move" sometime, so these were perfect for my purpose. They come in a brushed nickel finish and is well done IMO. They stick well to the walls of my shower and currently do not have plans to "move" them but that they "can" be moved is a plus to me. I have one holding a shower brush/back scrubber and the other a washcloth, so they aren't really "tested" for strength, but perform very well for this purpose. At the time of review these are under $18 for a set of two and they look better than most of the ones I have seen as the "brushed nickel finish" and stainless-steel material used for these means they look so much better than the plastic ones you usually find. We recently got a new shower and installed these on the acrylic tile, and these have been perfect. They go excellently with our brushed nickel faucet and hardware, which makes them look like a more premium product than they might otherwise look. They were easy to install and have been extremely sturdy in practice. We’ve used them to hang relatively light items, but the hold is so strong that I imagine they’d hold up heavier items without any issues. In fact, I would expect them to be strong enough to easily hold up soaking wet bath towels with ease. Although we haven’t tested them to their limits, they haven’t even slightly wiggled in use, and I really would describe them as heavy duty. I will note that the adhesive seems to strongly contribute to their strength, and because I haven’t tried to remove these from the shower wall I can’t speak to the listing’s claim that these are “reusable.” Read more
