Doesn't hold a large charge
First time using an electric lighter, it takes a while to light a candle. Doesn't hold a charge for more then a dozen uses. Read more
A great idea, works as claimed.
This newfangled candle lighter really surprised me. I charged it up using my computer port and tried to turn it on while it was still plugged in. It didn't work and I thought I had a dud, but when I removed it from the port and tried again it lit right up. I used it to light a full eight days of Hanukkah candles and it still has plenty of charge left in it based on the blue indicator lights. I also used it to light newspaper for a fire which was instantaneous. It has a safety cover that slides down over the "on" button to prevent accidents. It does not glow in the dark as advertised but that's not something I needed. Read more

I loved it, my husband loves it more. Make sure you buy this for an adult not an adult manchild as you cannot only start your grill, light a cigarette or other mildly flammable objects but you can also tase yourself with it. LOL ENJOY Read more

Finally tech that one-ups the match! Works like it should, lighting many candles. Don't know about battery life, but considering how many candles we have, one charge should take us into next year, unless the batteries decide to kick the bucket early! Read more
Really Just Good For Lighting a gas burner
The arc is on the smallish side and even though it can light a candle, break out the matches for birthday cake. That said, it's pretty handy for lighting a wick that's hard to get to with just a match. Likewise, it can start paper on fire but not very well or as well as a match or butane lighter. Read more
