This surge protector is great for multi purpose needs. It has several ports for chargers and also plug in ports. The only downfall is I felt it could be bigger so that when I plug in several at the same time I don't have to space them out because a plug is blocking the next port. Other than that it works great for what I needed it for. It has lights to let you know it's on. I really like the ease of use and safety of being able to hang it or attach it to something with pre installed holes on the unit. It included hardware as well. So this power strip is very good. It does the job I haven't had any issues with it so far. I had an ancient power strip before this and I can immediately tell the difference. My old power strip started giving me issues with my desktop computer. The issue being that my computer couldn't be left on sleep mode and would switch with turning on and going back to sleep. So I needed to get a new power strip. I also wanted one that had more outlets as well in order to have more space to plug my chargers and all those other stuff. I found this one and it fixed my issue the moment I tested it, my computer was able to sleep. I was also able to plug in all of my necessary chargers in the outlet with some still available. This was what I needed for our living room. Love that it has ports on the sides as well as the front PLUS the USB ports.
