These Susclude linen pants feel light and airy, which makes them nice and comfortable when it’s warm outside. The fabric is soft, doesn’t feel rough or itchy, and I don’t find myself getting sweaty as fast as thicker pants. They’re also stretchy enough to move around in, and they’ve held their shape fine after washing. The style is loose with wide legs, which gives them that fancy but relaxed look you might see in older classic outfits. The waistband has a lot going on. There’s elastic, a drawstring, a zipper, and also a hook closure. The elastic and drawstring are helpful because you can adjust them if the waist feels too loose or tight. But the hook part wasn’t my favorite. It works, but I think a snap or just a regular button would’ve been easier and less annoying to deal with. They’re meant to work for a lot of different situations, not just one thing. You could wear them somewhere nicer, but also just casually. They’ definitely look stylish but still feel relaxed, so you’re not stuck feeling stiff like in dress pants. The fit mostly depends on picking the right size, so checking the size chart helps. These would make sense to wear to something like a family dinner, a concert, or even walking around on vacation when it’s hot out. They look nice enough that you won’t feel under dressed, but they’re still comfortable enough that you can sit, walk, or move around without feeling stuck. I ordered these pants to wear at the beach or on a cruise. At first, I didn’t think they were suitable since the size wasn’t what I was expecting. For a 36-inch waist, the product lists a 29-inch inseam. As you can see in my photo, the inseam is closer to 31 inches but my issue is with the thighs. I could put both of my legs into one pant leg! Regardless, I wore these pants on a recent cruise and I have to admit, they were very comfortable, despite being so baggy. The length was a bit too long for my 5-foot 11-inch frame but I managed. The pockets are deep and very usable. The pants can be worn with a belt, even a wide one, or without, just relying on the straps and elastic band to provide the desired fit. So, would I order these pants again? Probably. They are lightweight to wear and for packing and provide multiple options for style. Only time will tell if the material wears well, no pun intended! These are very long. They are good quality and appear they will last. I think they look great. I will have to hem them up quite a bit. They had some odd color on knees that seems to have washed out. There are 3 ways to secure them... drawstrings, a button and a metal clasp. The metal clasp is obtrusive for me so will remove and maybe add 2nd button. They sinch easy and stretch ok. They are not 100% wrinkle free but if u catch them right out of the dryer they look great. Read more
