Not great quality- scissors are useless.
This looks like a nice manicure set at first glance. Upon closer examination, it's clearly not in the same category as the sets produced in Germany. Cheaper in both price and quality. The case is pretty, but only in a superficial way, and the toenail clippers don't really have a secure compartment built for them. The scissor blades do not mate closely and the action is rough. Since precision scissors are one of the primary tools in such a kit, this is a serious shortcoming. The other tools in the kit are just okay- serviceable and sharp, but not keep-it-for-a-lifetime quality, such as you would get from Dovo or similar manufacturers. This set is made in Pakistan. Bought it for a gift, but it didn't meet my quality standards. Can't comment about the quality of the steel or long-term performance because this product was returned the same day. I suggest paying the extra money to get a quality German manicure set that will last for generations. Read more

Great nail care kit!
I searched dozens of ads for nail kits and read hundreds of reviews while looking to purchase kits for my teenage daughters last Christmas. I wanted high quality, full size tools with a low price and a convenient storage container. This kit seemed to fit my criteria the best and I was very pleased with the weight and quality of the tools. The kit really contains everything they need on a regular basis and it fits into a sleek case which makes it convenient for travel and keeps tools from getting misplaced. manicure/pedicure set
I wanted to find a manicure set that had nice stainless steel pieces and something to carry them. The pieces are fine but the case is horrible. The red velvet, if that's what it is, came off in my hands. The inside of it smelled like gasoline. The smell was so strong we had to put it in the garage to get away from it. It also put an oily feel to your hands after handling the case. If I had known the case was this bad I would not have purchased it. As for the stainless steel set, they are nice pieces. If you want the pieces inside but don't care about the case then this set is for you. I wanted a nice case and a nice set of stainless steel. Read more
