I bought these batteries and charger a while back to replace an older set that no longer held a sufficient charge. These batteries, so far, are working well. They fit all my controllers just fine. Not sure why some are having trouble. I should mention that they will only fit into the controller one way. They are a bit tight, but not overly so. I think they're fairly easy to swap in and out but the fit is tight enough so they don't fall out even if you leave the cover off. Battery life is better than my last set of rechargeables so that's a bonus. I'm only currently using 2 of the batteries at the moment swapping between the two. The other two are in the charger upside down as not to wear them out. Batteries last a long time for a moderately frequent player. I’d say 10-20 hours a week. I plug in when I see it get low and with 4 batteries it’s almost impossible to run out of juice even for 2 players. Works with other brands batteries with the added benefit these sort of plug in as opposed to other brands that use the magnetic sensors on the back that never line up. Read more
I haven't had these batteries for very long, so I can't attest to their overall life. What I CAN say is I thought having a built in usb cord that seamlessly wraps around the unit and snaps into place is really cool! The cord isn't long which brings me to charging option #2, there's a usb-c slot that can also charge the unit. It's a nice little touch! I also REALLY love that it sequentially charges the batteries and indicates which ones are done charging and which aren't individually. Each port has an led light that wraps around each battery that will either show green for charged, or red for charging. I am currently still on the same battery after a marathon session of Elden Ring. I played for around 12 hours straight (what can I say, it was a rainy, lazy weekend for the hubby and I lol) and still have half of the charge left, so it seems like the 25 hour description might be accurate. When I put the batteries into the charger, 4 out of 5 times they will not start charging. I will have to push them down a few times, or remove them and put them back in to get the pins to properly engage. Once they charge they charge fairly quickly, and they last a long time in the controller itself. Just wish the charger were less of a hassle. Read more
