I was looking for a good replacement for Fleece sleepers because my daughter sweats in fleece sometimes and I personally am not a fan. I wanted something warm that she can breath through bc sometimes we have the heat set to the upper 60s. I really like the material set in the swaddle me design as it felt warm and soft against skin. It also felt thick enough to provide enough warmth with a onesie, pajamas, and the sleep sack. The design appear to be narrow but my 8 month old was still able to move her legs fairly well and stand up in her crib with it. The zipper though is small then most and appears to be someone cheap like it can break off. The material itself appears to be made up of good quality. Read more

I use this on the really cool nights because it's pretty warm. I love all of SwaddleDesigns stuff. It fits pretty snuggly and the material doesn't stretch or give much, but fits my daughter well regardless. (she's 100th height, 80th weight). Read more

I had a velvet sleep sack from red envelope that I was trying to find a replacement for. It was a heavy velvet (polyester velvet) with cotton knit lining. It was nice and warm and quite a bit warmer and cozier than the Halo fleece sleep sack we have also. I bought this because I thought it would be similar but the velvet is thin (same thickness as Halo fleece) and it's made from the matted kind of velvet, not the plush velvet. It's also not lined. The pink color was soft and cute, the construction looked pretty good. I'm returning it because I don't think it's warm enough. It was also $36 but I think the quality and warmth are comparable to the Halo fleece which is about $20. I'm going to try ordering a quilted sleep sack to see if those are warmer. Read more

This is extremely soft material and a nice quality zipper. However, it runs big. We outgrew the 0-9 Carters and Halo ones a while ago but this is huge. At a year she doesn't fit it is about 6-7" too long and the neck and the arm holes are too big. To me the 12-18 is more of an 18-24 size. For reference we are spot on for clothing sizes in pretty much all brands (gaps a little big). Also my lo is 19lbs, 28" at a year...fits perfect in the 6-12. Read more
