It’s comfortable and firm enough that it supports my neck. The hole is also big enough that my ear doesn’t touch the sides and I have enough room to wiggle around and get comfortable. As I've gotten older, I've developed "hot spots" on my ears that are painful when I sleep on my side. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this pillow, but I figured I'd give it a try. I grabbed this pillow to help with a new piercing, which has been a total lifesaver. It does exactly what it's supposed to by keeping pressure off my ear and has actually helped my piercing heal without any pain. Full disclosure, the PP cotton filling makes it a bit firmer than I was expecting, but it still works for what I needed it for. I'm hoping that over time it will soften up. The one major downside is trying to wash it. Since it's just fluff inside, it gets all lumpy and takes forever to dry. But for a good night's sleep when your ear is sore, it's worth the hassle. You cannot wash the pillow case without removing the cotton which makes a mess. I should have known that before I bought it. The zipper is too small to easily get all the cotton out. The pillow is small, firm, and could have more volume. As someone with chronic neck pain my neck is even tighter in the morning and its hard to fall asleep on. The one good thing is that it has helped with the healing process for my triple lobes and conch. The hole is the perfect size. I’ve had this pillow for about two months and probably still need to get another piercing pillow. Read more

I suffer from Chondrodermatitis nodularis helicis on my left ear, a skin condition that causes small, painful nodules on the ear cartilage. Sleeping on my left side was becoming very painful. I bought this to alleviate the pressure on my ear. It is filled with small pieces of cotton stuffing. The stuffing is removable, which makes it easy for the user to adjust it to rheir liking. I had to remove almost half of the stuffing, but it works really well, and I'm happy with it. Read more
