The sweater is just as it describes. I rather reviews and some people did not like it because it was thin, that's why I bought it. I get hot but I also want to wear a sweater. It's not too thin that it's see-through but it's thin enough if you get warm. I have had several compliments on the sweater. I would buy it again! In this case, I was surprised overall. The sweater itself is not for northern winters ... but for those of us who are in the deep south (usually we just get chilly, but there has been snow here too .. rarely). It is stretchy, comfortable, and appropriate length for me as a taller than average female and I can easily pull it on even as a disabled individuals. Washes well .. I put it with like items and let hang dry overnight in the bathroom while I sleep. I haven't noticed any fading so far (and i have washed it several times) nor have i noticed shrinkage either The sizes are true for the most part. If you are a 2xx us size 2xx is what you should get.
