I love this floating swimsuit bodysuit! It gives me so much peace of mind when I am around water with my toddler. I love that it is functional and he doesn’t get uncomfortable in it, wearing it all day and playing, yet I don’t have to worry about him, sinking or drowning. If he falls in the water I can quickly snatch him out. Of course, keep in mind this is not a life saving device or coast guard approved life vest and children should never be left alone near any water source. The design is great, material is comfortable and it is very functional for use at the lake pool or anywhere else needed. It floats well! Is a great value for the money - even though you can’t put a price on safety of your children! Very durable in all environments will last through many children as I pass it down! Fit is true to size. Bought for the 4.5 year old grandson. We tried 2 other different variations of a floating swim suit and all were below expectations and he will not wear. This suit allows him to be much more active and 'swim" without interference from bulky padding of the others. He has gained a lot of confidence and appropriate swim stroke muscle memory in this suit. We as grandparents are also more relaxed when he has this on and around the water/pool. Our only complaint is that it doesn't come in larger sizes. He does NOT sink below his chin with this on and if he falls in it quickly an easily brings him back to the surface. He can go under the water if he wants, but if he stops moving will bring him right back up!. Bought a Large as weights about 50-52 pounds now and though very tight, he likes and it works! Read more

The only person that gave this suit a 2-star rating was because they received it stained? That seems unfair. This suit is great, I bought two; one for my 4-year-old, who is a swimmer (crawler) in the pool and my 3-year-old who knows the basics but can't yet swim (swims to the wall at very short distances). I was going on a trip to hit some Florida springs and the river, as well as the pool. I am so glad I decided on this over the vest. My 4-yr-old was swimming all over the pool not worrying so much about becoming tired, which was great. I alternate between the suit and no suit to see what would happen to their skills and so far their swimming has only improved. My Oldest has even started treading water without it, which was a new skill. My youngest loves to float on his back and his swimming distance has increased as well as the concept of putting his head in the water and kicking and lifting his head, catching air and repeating even though endurance is still not there and I wouldn't call him a swimmer just yet. I think if you have a small child (or not so small) this is a great way to introduce them to the water, especially if you have one that is afraid and needs a little reinforcement. The only reason why I don't give this product 5 stars is that the neck has caused some irritation on both my kids, but that's also only because they spend nearly 4 to 5 hours in the pool but I feel like the extra neck coverage is just overkill and outweighs its necessity given that irritation. I bought this a year ago & hands down the best purchase ever!!! Seriously GET IT!!! Great quality, works amazing, allows them to move around freely, super comfortable. Not only did it bring so much peace of mind with my wild child 4 year old son cannon balling straight into the deep end, but it also helped teach him how to swim! This is not a life vest but I got this for my 2 year old grandson to wear in our pool and when he is out in the back yard. It does keep him a float and it has given him confidence with the water. The material is very nice and it is easy to get on. Getting off takes a little work because it is wet and it fits snug. I just put it on over his swim diaper. The color is pretty much the same as in the picture but i did get a med and he is 30 lbs and tall. They run a little on the small side. Read more
Second one we’ve bought. First one for our eldest (he was 4 at the time) and now one for our 3 year old. They are so good for getting them to learn to swim on their own (without floats) as their arm movements are not restricted. Incredibly good flotation as well.
