We've purchased a couple variations of these as our daughter has grown up and they've worked wonderfully. It's easy to slip on and the added tie helps stay on. It's slightly stretchy to get the right fit. I find it a fair price for the quality. I also appreciate that there are a variety of colors. We love these sun hats! I bought one for my eldest when she was four and starting to outgrow the cheap toddler sun hats in big box stores. The quality difference is remarkable. These hats have brims that are sturdy enough that they don’t flop over and fail to block the sun, yet soft enough that they don’t impede my kid laying back in a stroller comfortably. They are sturdy, showing no signs of wear after about a year. They are easy to adjust and stay on well while riding amusement park rides. I also love the yellow! I was worried that it would be too pastel based on the product photo, but it is bright and sunny. I have low vision that is even worse outside in the sun, so having my kids in a highly visible color is essential for keeping track of them easily. The yellow is easy to pick out in a crowd of small children, such as at playgrounds or splash pads. I loved this feature so much, I bought one for my toddler as soon as he became mobile. He is very photosensitive, and this hat keeps his eyes shaded and makes him pretty comfortable in the sun. We have converted many of our friends to these hats - although not necessarily to the yellow version - and they are well-accepted by a variety of different kids. Perfect hat for my LO, and at a pretty good price! I tried looking for a good quality bucket hat for my 6 month old, but all stores sold overpriced floppy-fabric cheapo hats. I ended up buying a cheapo one at a local giant retail behemoth. I've never been happy with it, as it was very floppy, the brim never seemed big enough, and the chin strap was tight on my LO! I looked all over amazon, and most of the hats seemed to be the same nonsense. Overpriced and cheap looking. This hat is closer to the cheapo hat prices. But it looked decent in the picture. It had good reviews too! So I chose this on... BOY was I surprised with the quality! The brim is large enough, and is stiff but still pliable if I wanted to bend it out of LO's face. It also has a sliding chin strap that is easily adjustable, and adjusts in the middle of the hat to reduce the diameter of the hat so it can fit a wide variety of heads. My boy is large for his age (28lbs at 6m, 31" long) so I opted for the 12 month size. It fits perfectly, as I can adjust it to his head! It comes in a wide variety of colors, and I might have to get another one in another color I love it so much! (We original bought navy) So, get this hat! You won't be disappointed. Read more

I have been buying this hat for my kids for about 8 years now. The fabric is great and sturdy even when getting wet while swimming. It keeps the sun out of their eyes as well as covering thier shoulders. It has breathable fabric on both side of their heads so they dont sweat in it.
