This past week my AC started blowing warmer than usual and seeing that I'd replaced the compressor, dryer and expander along with the seals last fall I started with the only things I didn't replace....the schrader valves. Once I took the safety caps off the low side I heard pressure release and it sounded like a little bull snake hissing at me. I took the high side safety cap off and it also had a little bit of pressure in it so I knew I needed to replace them. After looking around at vehicle specific kits I settled on this one which provides me with an assortment of different sizes. The high and low side valves for my application are in this kit which makes it a great value. When I went to remove the high side the factory fitting was tight in the tool so don't be afraid to push down just a little bit to seat it on the old valve making sure to support those aluminum lines so you don't damage them in the process. I lubed both valves with ac oil before inserting them so the o-rings wouldn't tear and performed a vacuum test to make sure they weren't leaking. I would highly recommend this kit if you need to replace your old valves and want to have some spares around. If anything changes I will come back and edit this review for you explaining what went wrong. Read more
A few dollars cheaper than other competitors price. I use it for work to replace a/c shraeder valves. Only thing it didn't come with was the sticker that shows all the different shraeder valves like the listing photo shows. Other than that, its a great tool for the price. Read more

Used this kit to repair a 2008 Ford Taurus air conditioner. Sealed really well. Quality was on par with local automotive store. The difference was the cost. Autoparts store wanted $40 buck for one low and high pressure valve. I got this kit for a similar price. Update: it’s been 1 year now and valves are still sealing perfectly! Read more
The tools are not cheap fit perfectly not lose at all. The springs on the valves are strong I haven't installed any valves yet will be doing that soon. Doubt ill ever use the large size never seen ones that big. Nice little set I agree with others replace both valves anytime you discharge a system. Nothing worse than a leaking valve with refrigerant only getting lot more expensive. The days of $1.99 for a can of R-134 are over. Read more
do a fair bit of ac work and have used these valves in several applications already. originally purchased as it was the only kit i could find with the large jeep fittings. I test each valve for leaks after being connected with a gauge as its a common leak point after service and these valves seal up great with no leakage detected with a J spec detector Read more
Valve tool broke on first use if you don't have an extra tool you might look for another kit Read more
