If you’re going to iron it, and you will need to, make sure to put a sheet between the iron and the mat and use low heat. Keep the backing ON while you’re doing this unless you’re trying to permanently superimpose the mat to your floor (since heating the adhesive is just begging to have some glue mishaps) Alternatively, you can just lay it out and put some heavy flat stuff on it for a few days or a week 👌 You are getting exactly what you pay for, a flat-ish piece of felt with a sticky side.
