As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound & Studio Engineer, Professional Audio-Visual Production Specialist, DJ and Musician I obviously work mainly in the evening at concert venues all across America! Therefore, as you can imagine I spend a lot of time working in the dark! However, the worst situation is when a concert is over at the end of the evening and the house lights are not quite up yet which means my whole workspace is quite dark! Therefore having a good Dependable work light makes all the difference in the world and helping me break down our setups and get back on the road again! This Particular Work Light from Sylstar he's probably one of the best work lights that I've actually seen on the market! First of all it is super portable, super bright as well as very well-built! I like the fact that this entire kit fits perfectly into their carry bag which is very well made! The carry bag has two zippers as well as a shoulder strap which makes moving this product around super easy! When you open the bag you will notice that there is the work light as well as an interior pouch holding a handle as well as a power cord! The work light itself has a fairly decent amount of weight to it considering it has a very powerful battery and two excellent bright LED light panels that move and rotate 360°! Also the stand of this unit is all metal as well as the extension bars that move the light up and down are also metal! Therefore the craftsmanship is excellent! The extension poles have three different extended settings which allows you to customize the light to exactly where you need it! Also upon powering up the unit there are three different brightness settings which makes it super convenient depending on where you are working and how you want to utilize this light! I found that the battery power of this unit is very strong and long lasting and the LED lights stay very bright with no issues whatsoever! I also appreciate the fact that this light is very easy to use right out of the box and if you have any DIY experience at all you don't even need the instructions to use this product! Another thing I've noticed with the stand itself is that it is very strong and well balanced! There were no issues of the light tipping or anything of that nature while in use! Also I found the work light to be very reasonably priced considering the fact that it's very well built, heavy duty, super sturdy, very very bright, easy to use and super portable! Light quality 5/5 Functionality 4/5 Ease of assembly 3/5 first time, then 5/5 once you figure it out. I got this led work light for dual purpose. One, I like to work in the garden but we have no outdoor lights set up, so this is a nice light for the evenings when I want to work late there. And two, we needed a backup light for videos, and this one seemed to possibly work for it. First look, this is one compact light. Not as heavy as I expected, and it comes with its own carrying bag, which is not only sturdy but also has enough space that you are not going to be fighting it when its time to store the light back up. Instructions that come with it are.. unhelpful. But the item itself is easy to figure out once you mess around with the locking clamps. No matter what height you have it setup, it is sturdy and does not move at all, even when it is windy. You can truly expand it to over 7 feet, and the lights are easy to adjust independent of each other. Being able to adjust light tone is also very nice, specially if you are using it indoors as extra lighting. Outdoors, we were able to easily see clearly for about 15-20ft diameter. Took down one star, because every time we used it, it turned itself off (similar to a standby/battery saving mode) after about 30min, forcing us to go back and click the light button again. I have yet to figure out how to disable that, even when the battery was pretty much full. It does not happen when plugged directly to an outlet. Last thing one wants to do when working outside is having to stop whatever their doing to have to move around in the dark to turn it back on. I find that this item is worth its value. Read more

This was an amazing gift for my husband!! Very high quality. I am going to give his thoughts the best I can, altho I was very impressed, myself, even with how easy it adjusted and the nice, thick carrying bag. - First, he was very impressed with the durability. It is made for outdoor conditions especially, but can, of course be used indoors. Does come pre-assembled, with a few things here and there you need to do (pushing something to make legs open, attaching or detaching handle, that's about it other than adjusting height) - The battery power, without plug (but after charging around 3 hrs) lasted around 2 hours on the highest setting. This was around 64' outside. He said it may last a little less time if it had been colder. (at a lower light setting, which can be done, it would probably last longer. The given cord/plug is around 3ft, but any length outdoor extension cord could be used. - The lights are adjustable up, down and sideways basically- and can be in 2 different directions. (great use for camping on this and other aspects)- and the light strength can be low, medium or high. - It can be moved and locked to any height between the bottom setting and the top one. - There is even a stinking charger on this thing!! There is a USB and USBc!! This is so convenient if you are working on something too long and need to charge phone, but you have an extra long cord going to it, then you don't have to go all the way back for something, you can charge phone, or whatever, near you. - Very easy to travel with. There is a remove-able handle for the light, and/or you have a very durable, thick bag to carry it in. The pics were the best we could do, but they do not do it justice.
