Symmetria Silk Face Cream 1 7 oz - Italian Luxury Moisturizer with Peptides Shea Butter - Hydrating Anti-Aging

The problem with trying something new that costs a lot more than what I'm currently using is discovering that it's really really good and I want to keep buying it so I've got to make budget adjustments. That's how my cat ended up with his current pricey diet: once he tried free samples of Sheba pate and IAMS kibbles there was no going back to dry Friskies. You get the idea. So, yes, darn it all, this silk face cream is a superior moisturizer and even at $69.99 (when I ordered) it's a decent value given its high quality. The fragrance is oddly masculine but it's pleasant and it doesn't linger, disappearing once the cream has been absorbed. The instructions say to use a "pea size" bit on each side of the face and I found that little bit to be just right so this 50 ml jar should last a couple of months with daily use. I'll be using it only as a night cream because I like my daytime moisturizer to contain at least some sun screen. The cream is thick but it's not greasy and wearing it overnight has me waking up with skin that feels plump and smooth as velvet. Apparently quinoa gets the credit for producing peptides that are tremendously beneficial for skin and I fell down a rabbit hole reading all about it. Impressive enough that I'd order again. The Alpine Essence Symmetria Silk Face Cream is velvety and rich. I think it’s thicker than most face creams and it feels very luxurious. It contains peptides, argireline, azelaic acid, Shea butter and quinoa. This is the first skin care product I’ve used or even seen with quinoa. This age defying moisturizer feels like silk on your skin and is extremely hydrating. I really liked the scent in the jar, but after I applied it to my face, it smelled like a men’s cologne to me. That was the only negative I have on this product. Fragrance is personal, so I’m sure others will like the way it smells. Made in Italy. Read more
