Coats require a lot of space, not necessarily compatible with apartment-sized closets. This rack is now holding six coats of varying sizes from a windbreaker jacket to a long puffer coat, and is doing it in a small space behind a door. It was easy to assemble - yes, I did it myself - and seems to be quite strong. There is no sagging or drooping of the T-bar, and the base is heavy enough to support the weight of the coats. I bought this rack + some camping hooks to use as a hanging plant stand. The first delivery was missing the uppermost pole section, but the replacement product was complete, and has worked out exactly as I wanted it to! I used blue loctite on the threads during assembly to keep the pole as sturdy as possible. I chose this stand because the flat base would slide under my radiators - and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend this product for a plant stand. It is very stable on my floor, but I suspect it might be wobbly on carpet. Read more
