I’ve been struggling with wrist issues for decades. Sometimes daily but most often it’s something that just comes and goes. I can go weeks, even months without pain but then boom it comes on and I struggle for a week or so. No one has ever specifically figured out what causes it but I’ve learned to deal with it. Wearing a wrist brace during the painful times does make it more manageable. Many years ago, when this first started happening to me, I found a simple brace which could be worn on either hand. It was supportive in the right places and provided just enough relief for me during those times of need. I wore that thing out and unfortunately at that point I could not find an exact replacement. I’ve spent years searching but none are designed in just that same way. This brace has most of those support elements and is about as close as I can find. Which is GREAT! However, because of the design, it is only for (in this case) the left hand. I have issues in both hands, though usually not at the exact same time. Which means I need to order an additional one for the other hand. Not a big deal but a bit impractical to have to pack each time I travel when space is at a true premium. Support wise, this is a great fit so for that I give it high reviews. Aesthetic wise, and I recognize that I may be an outlier here, but as someone who does need to wear wrist braces semi regularly, it would be nice if there were other color choices available. I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome a number of years ago after telling my doctor how my hands numbed up overnight. I was thinking I was going to need surgery to fix the problem but my doctor told me to just put on wrist braces every night before I go to sleep. Fortunately, the braces work like a charm, though not all of them are created equal. I have tried out a number of brands and styles, and for night wear, I prefer braces with some padding especially in the palm area. I ordered a size small as I am a petite female with a size 6 wrist. This brace fits me well. There are 3 adjustable velcro straps plus a 4th adjustable tab in the thumb area, which is a nice feature. I'm wearing this brace as I type this review just to see how easy it is to have it on and perform daily functions. I have to say that typing on my laptop is a breeze, along with texting on my phone, grasping objects like my large travel mug, I'm also able to hand write and draw with the brace on, though not quite as easily. So I would say that this is a good brace to use if you have carpal tunnel symptoms during the daytime. At the same time, what I have found is that the braces that work well during the day are not the same braces I prefer to wear at night. Because at night I want some padding for comfort, which would definitely make it harder to do things like type and write. I got this wrist brace hoping it would help with my carpal tunnel symptoms, and it does provide decent support, keeping my wrist pretty straight with the metal piece inside. While the adjustability is good and it fits my hand okay overall, I've found a couple of uncomfortable points. The upper part, where the metal bar is located, is very stiff and digs into my forearm a bit. Additionally, the strap closest to my wrist, along with the hard, rounded edge of the brace near the base of my pinky finger, also tend to dig into my skin. Because of these pressure points, I can't wear it for extended periods and definitely wouldn't be able to sleep in it. If you prioritize strong support and don't mind some stiffness, this brace might work for you. However, if comfort for all-day wear is important, you might want to explore other options. Read more

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product I got this for my wife, who has chronic wrist pain—possibly some tendonitis—from playing a lot of ping-pong. The brace provides solid support and is easy to adjust, with three Velcro straps and a thumb tab that keep it securely in place. It also includes a removable aluminum stiffener, which adds extra stability when needed but can be taken out for more flexibility. She wears it during the day while doing light tasks or simply resting her wrist, and it definitely seems helpful so far in reducing discomfort from regular strain. It’s kind of too restrictive to wear while playing ping-pong, since it limits the quick wrist movement needed for the game. But for recovery and support between sessions, it’s been very helpful. This wrist support from Timtakbo is extremely well made and very supportive. I have had issues with my right wrist on and off for many years and have tried many types of wrist braces, both over the counter and from an orthopedic doctor. I’ve had ones with metal supports built in both curved and straight but this one is much more comfortable and really feels like it gives me better support. I did not take a star off which I thought of doing due to poor sizing on their sight but I really think most people should figure out the size they need without much guidance anyway. It comes very flat in the package and the Velcro was quite stiff so a bit hard to open enough at first to get my wrist in but I think that will work itself out.
