Wonderful small grater! Excellent quality.
I have been looking for this little-size box grater for 5+ years - no kidding. I have searched every type of store, online or otherwise, and couldn't believe that no one had it. Most every every store with kitchen gadgets has the regular big box graters, or the type that are one sided with a handle which aren't always the most convenient (but way too small grating holes for my needs), but the bigger issue for me was the size of the main grating holes. (I rarely, if ever, use the other 3 sides.) and regular box graters are really big - the overall size and the main grating holes. As my photo shows, the grater on the right is my trusty old black one that is older than I can remember and pretty dull. I finally found this stainless steel little beauty (on the left) here on Amazon after much searching (this one did not come up in initial searches for "little box grater"). Anyway, this new one is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, perfectly replaces what I have, is even better quality, and will get lots of use for years to come. These littler graters are perfect for smaller size shredding, and especially if you live alone and are grating only enough cheese, as example, to sprinkle on a salad. Read more
Perfect replacement for my old grater!
The handle of my old small grater broke and I purchased this one to replace it. It is a little taller than my old one but is just as easy to use and I like the fact is it a little taller and also it has a nice rubber bottom. Great purchase! Read more
