This is a nice, soft shirt and the type my husband tends to prefer for everyday wear. The fit does run a bit on the boxy side, but he still found it comfortable, especially for active days. After the first wash, the shirt seemed to lay and look better overall. The fabric feels lightweight and has good moisture-wicking performance, which we definitely noticed while working farmers markets and staying active in the heat. One thing to note is that the fabric does seem to hold onto odors a bit more than some performance shirts, so it may benefit from prompt washing after heavy use. Overall, a comfortable casual shirt that performs well for active wear, with a slightly relaxed fit. Read more

I ordered this shirt for an upcoming trip my son is taking this spring. I chose his usual size (xxl) and although it fits him, it runs a bit short. This may be troublesome for men that are 6 foot tall or taller. I appreciate the shirt's high number UPF sun protection, especially living in the Southern United States. Because of the tight weave of the material and the fact it is not too bulky, it would be ideal for layering as well. Overall, I believe this shirt is a good value for the money due to the quality and color selection offered. Read more

The material is quite smooth, soft, and slick. It's also a nice, roomy fit, which makes much more difference in being comfortable. The material is slick enough that it can tend to come untucked if used as an undershirt, but that's fine because it's clearly not the intended purpose for this kind of shirt. So far it's held up through the wash, and doesn't feel thin, cheap, or diminished by the washing process and some wear. Read more

I must admit, when I first saw the TACVASEN Men’s Short Sleeve UPF 80+ Moisture-Wicking Sun Shirt, I was very curious—especially about the UPF 80+ protection and the moisture-wicking claims. I decided to try it more as a cover-style shirt rather than a fitted one. In my opinion, the shirt performs exactly as described by the manufacturer. The fabric has a soft feel, and since it’s cold where I live, figuring out how to properly test the moisture-wicking had me a bit confounded at first—until I decided to exercise in it. I did work up a sweat and quickly realized I may have made a mistake by ordering a larger size than I normally wear—but that’s on me. That said, even with the larger size, the shirt did exactly what it claimed. Certain areas showed no sweat at all, and I truly believe that if I had ordered my usual size, the moisture-wicking effect would have been even more noticeable throughout the entire shirt. Please keep in mind, this review is based solely on my personal experience. I can’t speak for others. For me, this shirt is good quality, good value, and feels durable and sturdy. I also believe it would have fit perfectly had I ordered my normal size. Read more

This shirt is made with 100% polyester, which leads to my lack of ability to really go one way or the other - So I give this shirt a solid 3/5 stars. PROS: - Feels soft to the touch when it's not worn - Pretty durable feeling/looking material, seams are good - Moisture wicking is decent & does keep you dry - Shirt feels lightweight and not heavy/weighed down - Fit is as I expected (14 yo husky boy size Large) - Provides great sun protection! CONS: - DOES NOT feel breathable; in fact feels thicker than it actually is, when being worn - feels like it attracts and traps heat, making you feel hot & stuffy - Becomes static-y VERY easily, hard to remove 100% static with any solution - Not really any stretch to the material - Feels more scratchy than soft, when worn on the body The color is perfect, and I like the classic slim fit that this shirt has. But it's not a great choice to be wearing out in the sun, despite its UV resistant material. Also kind of pricey, for the overall quality. I would pay $6-$9 for this, but as is - I wouldn't consider purchasing again. Read more

This is a very pretty royal blue! The fabric is 100% polyester but despite that it feels very soft to touch. Because it is polyester it will dry fast. I personally recommend hang drying as it will keep shirt looking new for years. It has a nice stretch collar. There is no annoying tag at back of collar. The seams are double surged stitched, which means no fraying. The hem of shirt and sleeves is also surged stitched which gives a clean and neat look and prevents material from framing. The polyester material has a slight stretch/give so when pulling material taut it does not bind around chest, arms, shoulders, etc. My husband usually wears a size medium but I got a U.S. large as sometimes sizes run small for overseas made items. The large actually fits pretty well. It is just a touch big in shoulders where seam falls about 1/2 or less below, but overall look of fit is great! Read more

I ordered this shirt for my teenage son who is 6 foot, 140-145 pounds in size small. He wears this type of shirt often for working out and playing sports. He wears a men’s size small to medium in shirts. This shirt is HUGE. It is WAY too big for him. It is wide and boxy and there is zero shape to this shirt. Shirts like this are normally a fitted type of shirt. This fits my husband who is 5’9, 200 pounds. Yes, it is fitted on him and not loose, but he never wears a size small. He plans to wear it as an undershirt. This shirt is not the soft, slinky feeling material that my son’s other moisture wicking shirts are. It’s actually kind of stiff. It does have some stretch to it, but not like others. The shirt is poorly constructed. The seams are uneven and already has raveling threads and no one has even worn it yet. I am disappointed with the quality and construction of this shirt. It is priced higher than the other shirts I buy my son. Read more
