The media could not be loaded. Super cool radar that has been not only useful but a fun addition to my son’s baseball training. My son has played up for the last three seasons and while he’s done well, he’s always one of the smaller guys on the team being 9yo on 11u team this year thus his throwing/pitching velocity and even power at the plate is tough to match kids 12-22mo older than him. We love going to the cage or Dbats and getting some work in. I bought this radar as a way to show him his progress and just add a fun element to the work we do together. What I love about it is how easy it was to setup on my phone, create training sessions and programs, set it on the tripod and just get to work. He’s been working on pitching a bit more so throwing this outside with a net and bucket of balls is something we’ve been doing a lot too and he can even work on tee work and get some insights on exit velocity off the tee. We’ve been experimenting with taking it to the tunnel and setting up so you can see both pitch speed and exit velo. We got it at the end of the season so haven’t had the chance to test in a game scenario but think that could be really cool as well. We will try to test in the last tournament of the season this weekend. It’s cool because you can really easily switch to video mode making it so much more than just a radar tool. So far, I’ve only charged it once and still shows 78% battery life which is crazy as we’ve had it out quite a bit over the last week or two. Arrived on time and in good packaging. This is a must have for any team or player that wants to improve. I coach girls 13-14 yr travel softball and it's improved everyone. Exit velos have increased by 10mph in weeks. Its the instant tangible feedback they see, and they go harder everytime out to compete against themselves and teammates. Easy app to install, easy to operate, connect, and understand. It's durable, been knocked over a few times and still accurate. Small, compact, and easyily portable. Fits in your pocket. Hold it or stand it up alone in front or behind the pitcher or batter. All done with Bluetooth. I'm an Android phone user. It works. Battery life is easily good for our 3 hour practices. Memory of the last 25 tracks in every mode/category. I use Pitch/Hit mode in short cages at a pitching distance of about 15 feet behind a screen. Shows that i don't slow pitches down for certain batters. Takes all the guess work out, of "who got what speed thrown to them". Hahaha...Keeps the girls egos in check. Tee/Soft Toss mode memory for generating their own power. My pitchers use from Behind Catcher mode, Fastball to Change-up every other pitch to work correct speed change velocities. What velocity change works and which speed doesn't work. Does exactly what it says. I love it tracks the pitchers velo and the hitters exit on the same pitch. Coaches/parents and players ask me all the time to let their kid bat or pitch to see their velos. Not everyone can afford HitTrax or Rapdodo. Bought this for my 14yo son (pitcher) for Christmas. We bought it in October but didn’t open until January since it was a Christmas gift and baseball hadn’t started. Upon opening the unit, it didn’t appear to be charging. I emailed the company and figured I’d hear back in a day or 2, I heard back within 10 min. He asked for some info but I had left and promised to email him later. Friday night, around 7pm I emailed him back. Again, figured I’d hear back Monday. I heard back immediately!!! After diagnosing the issue Logan (amazing) said he would immediately send me out a new device and when I recieved the new device to send the other back. I got the new unit in a couple of days. He emailed to confirm I received. Customer service seems to be a lost art sometimes but TAG Sports and specifically Logan deserves 10⭐️! On to the actual product, it is a great tool! I own both the TAG and the original Pocket Radar, and the TAG is just as accurate. The video overlay, auto video-recording, and audio speed readouts are fantastic. Tracking pitch and exit velocities simultaneously is a game-changer. The 6-hour rechargeable battery completely beats swapping AAAs, and sharing live sessions is a huge plus. To operate you need to set up a username and password. After setting up, and entering for the initial login, we got the message that our username or password was wrong. Ok. So then we asked to reset our password which should have led to us receiving an email link from the company. After multiple tries and one day later, no success in getting an email link to use this $240 equipment. Customer service opens on Monday. I will call on Monday but likely will end up returning. Very unsatisfied and would not buy this product again as the technical aspect of this product is very frustrating. Read more
