Sturdy and stay in place! I used a different set of handholds that I bought from Amazon about four years ago to use after returning home from a lengthy illness. They kept falling off the shower wall and scaring me to death. I just put them back in place and soldiered on. Finally tired of hearing them hit the bottom of the tub and purchased these as a replacement. These Taili Shower Grab Bars are a different story altogether. I rent, and with 18" studs in a small bathtub/shower area, it was not possible to install something permanent. Landlord did try. I am so happy I found these. Installation was easy, but it does require a bit of strength to push the mount firmly enough to achieve the necessary suction. These feel so strong when I grab one to step in for my shower and again when I am getting out. What a secure feeling. I don't have to test them before using them. Price was sure right and the 12-inch size is perfect inside a shower/tub arrangement. They can be moved easily to change position, height or location. First set worked really well. Bought another set a they sat on a shelf for 6 months and tried installing them and would not hold to the large tiles. Cleaned t8les with soap and alcohol dut could pull them off. The original order still working Read more
These are great add-on grab bars. When installed properly they are very sturdy and provide comfortable grip in the hand. Very easy to install but take care the tile or wall is completely dry. I'm currently in a rental house and can't drill into the walls to add permanent fixtures. These adjust to any height and direction. I use them horizontal, vertical, and diagonally. My only complaint is they look very medical. This is expected for the type of product it is. However, It would be nice if they came in fun colors to match curtains. Read more
These worked really well. We took them on vacation because we know the shower at the cottage we rent doesn’t have safety bars. The walls are tile and these bars, when stuck to the dry tile, stayed up fine for the 10 days we were there. We needed to use a credit card to break the seal to get them off when we left, which was suggested in the instruction pamphlet, and luckily they didn’t leave a mark. I didn’t put my full weight on them, I used them more for balance. I felt like them were sturdy and a great of size. We will take them with us next time, I’m really glad I chose these. Read more
What I like most about these grab bars is that they’re plastic, so they’re not cold when you reach for them. They also have a nice, comfortable thickness that makes them easy to grab. A lot of people mention installation issues, but the instructions are actually right about one thing: the suction cups must sit fully on a single tile. If even part of a suction cup lands on a grout line, it won’t seal properly. But if you position them so each suction cup is completely inside the tile, they attach firmly.
