Takeya Tritan Sports Water Bottle with Spout Lid 40 oz Ocean

My 2nd grader and 4th grader have outgrown the sippy straw-style water bottles (Camelbak eddy) and requested the spout style to bring to school. I wash their water bottles after daily use, so I needed to buy several to use during the entire week. It was a challenge finding simple, quality water bottles that didn't cost a lot of money. I decided to try this brand and style. Wow, I did not regret it! The 18 oz. size is perfect for elementary school-aged kids and the bottles fit nicely in the side pockets of each of their backpacks (different brands and sizes). They are leak-proof, durable, and easy for them to use. For me, disassembling and washing the pieces has been a lot easier compared to smaller and more parts for the sippy straw style water bottles. Other customers have noted the handle can break off easily, but ours are all intact after a few months of frequent use. My final note is about colors. I purchased royal blue, ocean, and fuchsia colors. On my computer screens, the colors appeared to be bright. In reality, the colors are quite dark. My son went through water bottles after water bottles. Steels gets tinted, plastics breaks/cracks, the lids starts leaking, so on and so forth. 2 years ago, I bought an 18 oz of this brand at tjmax without knowing how good it was, i bought it because it looked good and for the convenience of the size. It is still in a good shape except for some scratches because it’s in the hands of a 7 year old 🥴😀. I bought the 36 oz bottle so it can last until he gets home from school because i don’t want my son to drink water from the water fountain at school. Its by far the best and price is reasonable too. My daughter had a water bottle that kept leaking and the cap kept popping open. I wish I purchase this water bottle sooner to save my new car carpet from water stain. The cap of this water bottle is twist open/close so it provides excellent leak proof. The mouth is wide enough for easy clean and refill. The bottle is made from nice and thick plastic. Great size, good carrying handle, and the o-rings seem very strong. only complaint is the cap screw ridges are on the inside of the spout of the bottle, causing the pour to be inconsistent (either fast or slow), but most of the time just not pour the way i want it to into mah mouth. :( other wise great, 9/10 Read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this water bottle!!!! The royal blue color is amazing! It’s hard to find a large water bottle with a spout top that doesn’t have all of the stupid writing of reminders and times to drink- I hate that! I wanted something, pretty color. No plastic smell or taste, sturdy, leak proof, simple to clean - dishwasher safe top rack, easy to hold even though it’s 40 ounces. I didn’t want a straw because that gets gross to keep it clean after a while. I wanted to be able to drink without my fingers touching the spout to open it and to have a cover for the spout. You just twist the top and lift to drink from the spout and the lid stays back while you’re drinking which is great. Im also tired of bring 3 -16 oz spring water bottles to work and this holds just about that much. I’m going to order more for family, maybe another one for me.
