Based on everything I read, latex consistently came out on top — better than bamboo, cotton, memory foam, and polyester in terms of airflow and responsiveness. This is one of the few pillows I could find on Amazon that actually uses real latex as the filling. I was pleasantly surprised by how balanced it feels — soft enough to sink in comfortably, but still supportive so your head doesn’t feel like it’s sinking too far. Another plus: the pillow comes with a removable cover that feels incredibly soft — almost like a high-end bedsheet. It’s little details like that that make a difference. I like it overall, however, it is large and heavy (I am 6'2" tall and it's big enough) and that makes it a little tricky to roll over in your sleep. The latex filling is very squishy and provides comfortable support, but it does tend to get warm after a while (don't they all?). I really like the outer cover material. It looks and feels very nice.
