i got one and my partner loved it so much i got them one too. I have it attached to a lobster claw and a small plush keychain so now i can find my chapstick in the middle of the night on my bedside table or lost in my purse. and I can just clip it to keys if i'm hiking to save myself space. I did expand the opening on mine a little bit to fit a larger chapstick that sides out instead of the cap coming off (so i don't lift my keys to my face to put on chapstick). even with a normal chapstick it is a bit of a tight fit when changing out an empty, but totally possible. and i never worry about my chapstick falling out! it has held up for at-least 2 years and I expect i wont need to replace it unless i loose it. This product has saved me more than three times what I paid for it. I have not lost a single tube since I started using it. I have purchased three of these since the first one and I am thoroughly pleased with them. One is on my keys, which are almost always with me, another is on my ski jacket on a retractable keychain holder, and the remaining one is on my work badge. Pros - Fits any regular tube chapstick - Does not loosen up over time - Protects the dial to prevent smooshing and wastage. Cons - Does not hold oversized tubes beyond the larger chapsticks. - Not for the bowl shaped chapsticks. Beyond those two cons which are not of import to myself since I use regular sized and shaped tubes there are no negatives. I have not lost a single tube since I began using this product. It's a cheap stocking stuffer and everyone I have given this to, who was shocked/disappointed at first, has changed their minds once they see how much they have saved after not losing anymore money to misplaced chapstick. These are the best lip balm solution that Ive found! I have them on a quick-release, so I can pop them off, apply, reattach to whatever they're connceted to (keys, pack loop, belt loop...) I own a few and have gifted a few. Every time someone asks about the carrier, I send them the Amazon link. I knocked off a star, and am considering taking off another, because one I ordered for friend arrived this morning, and now has been branded. I keep Carmex inside my pockets 24/7, but not everything I wear has pockets. So, I needed to find something that could easily connect to my phone, which I keep with me all the time. I searched for about an hour on Amazon for something durable and convenient, but nothing met my specs until I came across this little gem! The number one problem I encountered with all the other products was that they were too big for my liking and didn't seem very durable. Plus, people were constantly complaining about their chapstick falling out. You definitely don't have to worry about your chapstick falling out with this lip balm holder! At first, I thought there was an issue with the cap, but I soon realized I had put it in upside down... lol. Once you get it in the right way, you can push your chapstick all the way down until you hit resistance, and the cap still goes on just fine—at least it does for my Carmex. I've had this for a couple of weeks and really love it. For a long time I dealt with my favorite lip balm getting turned around in my pocket causing it to push out of the tube and into the cap. It was a real hassle that got under my skin and left at least a few tubes unfinished. This holder is very slim and won't take up much space - especially compared to all the other sleeves that are out there. I was concerned that I would notice the weight, but it's not noticeable at all. It does have a key ring attachment if you want to attach it to something, but I find it very comfortable in my pocket. There are maybe 2 downsides - 1) it is a little harder to turn the thumb wheel, but that's the point. 2) I will have to take it out to go through a metal detector. That's it.
