When I ordered this pillowcase, I truly wasn’t expecting all that much- I have one euro pillow on my bed that I use as a prop for reading/ watching tv andhad a cute, cheapie, eBay case that the zipper finally gave way in the washer, so I found this one. Well, imagine my happy surprise when I received this- it’s beautiful! The fabric is thick- almost upholstery quality, but not quite as thick- it IS a pillowcase, after all- but much thicker than any other case I’ve bought. And it’s so soft! Not cheesy fake crushed velvet, but real, true velvet. The color is gorgeous- I got the gray one and it’s a true, deep, smoky gray, not blue or dull. My bedroom is painted gray- I find it soothing and it gives the room a “regal” feel. I like splashes of color and I love a good leopard print- the last case was leopard and I was actually looking for another one, so I almost didn’t buy this one. But I’m so glad I did. Now I plan on purchasing more for the sofa throw pillows- they come in many different sizes and colors so there could be a few different applications for these. It’s one of the easiest and least expensive ways to switch up the look of any room. The construction of these cases is top notch as well! I’ve washed it 3-4 times now and I keep expecting to pull a bald, mangled mess out of the washer- or even worse, the DRYER! But no- it washes (cold, delicate cycle) and dries (low) just perfectly! And even softer than pre washed! That’s extremely important to me since I’m a little neurotic about house cleanliness- I have slipcovers on the couches that get washed fairly regularly, now I’ll do the same with the pillows. And if you’ve been shopping for replacement throw pillows any time recently, you’d have seen just how pricey they can be- pillow forms/ inserts (even down ones!) are far less expensive than finished pillows and with these HIGH QUALITY pillow cases, you can create your own custom look for way less! I bought these 26’x26” Christmas Red Euro shams in 2016; yes, 9 years ago and they are still going strong! It’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made. They’re not only beautiful, they are durable—and I USE these shams. I wash them in the washer on delicate cycle, no bleach, and air dry them and the red color is STILL vivid. These work very well with my down filled pillows. The color is vibrant, the quality is good. On one of the cases the zipper was a little stubborn, on the other it zipped quickly and effortlessly. These are well worth the cost and have helped update our accent pillows in our living room. Read more

I bought the 24x24 in Coco. I knew how to size so that part was easy, no surprises there. I honestly did not expect the feel or look of the material to be as lush as it is! I can’t afford nice pillows, but I had a few old el cheapos to cover so I tried the cover route. Major score!!! Damn, they are smooth, soft, thick and hold their shape! I bought the color Coco, just praying that they didn’t come looking a sad shade of ground coffee. It may not be Coco, but it is the color shown on my screen, actually a little lighter and with more gold. Not a true gold, but a lovely light-medium bronze. The velvet sheen casts darker and lighter colors based on the light with the texture. I needed a warm contrast with a taupe base and a multitude of earth and sky colors, and this actually worked better than I originally planned for. It showed up VERY close to pictured, and in the right light, near exact. The closure doesn’t feel flimsy and is tastefully hidden, zips smoothly. This was a great deal!
