Perfect for my home gym
These are exactly what we needed to cover the concrete area in front of my son's power rack cage. The weights are set-up in our unfinished basement, so a large mat in front of the cage is essential so he can deadlift. The mat tiles we initially got him ended up being subpar and didn't hold up very well at all. Within the first week of having them, they slowly started coming apart and wouldn't stay linked. Over time, it just kept getting worse. I guess that's what you get when you purchase them at Wal-Mart. They were also too thin for what he's doing. These mat tiles are nothing like those. They are strong, sturdy and flexible. The thickness is perfect for what he's doing. He's had no issues whatsoever and he's down there lifting weights every single day. They've stayed firmly linked and don't move around or slide on the concrete. They're working wonderfully. He likes that they're anti-slip, because he can get better traction on the mat versus the concrete floor. It was super simple to put together. Just figure out what shape you want and link them together. The edge pieces give it a nice finished look. He's extremely happy with the mat and how well it's holding up. I'm extremely happy with the price. I was able to get twice the amount of tiles for around the same price. Now that I know that these are high quality mat tiles, I'll definitely be ordering more, so I can cover the entire area. Read more
