The light itself was beautiful. It was just what I was looking for in a cage light. BUT … I ended up returning it because it was advertised as being black. The cage itself was black but the base was actually a dark bronze/brownish color. That was a deal breaker for me. I remodeled my kitchen and all my new cabinet hardware was black so I wanted a black fixture to match. That being said, the light itself was well built, attractive and hard to beat for the money. This is a beautiful light fixture. We put one in the laundry room and one on a wall where we had old track lighting. (I added a couple pics of the one on the wall.) Installation was easy and they look great. We put LED daylight Edison bulbs and they are much brighter than our previous fixtures. You do want to put the bulbs in before the cage is added. My husband just put it all together and I was hoping the bulbs would fit through the cage, but they didn’t. Highly recommend. Read more
