Surprisingly nice fabrication; like a dry-weave gabardine. Only except for the lapels are too exaggerated for my style. The top part of the lapel that forms the collar stands up and then slopes to the shoulders more than expected so it is not attractive on me in that area since wont show my shoulders’ true shape. It looked more classically cut in the photos. Good shape otherwise and enough fabric around the bootilicious area when wrapping to tie the belt. The pockets were in a good position for my arms. I like the coat. From the reviews, I thought it would be huge, like a 4X with a tag saying ‘Small’ sewn inside. It’s not like that. It’s a really nice oversized fit. The color is a typical army grey-green just like I wanted. The design is up to date and chic. The sewing seems very good. The material is soft and drapey, but It’s thin and does hold onto wrinkles. The lining is smooth and silky. Definitely made for style, not warmth. The thing that bothers me though is the lack of interfacing in the collar, lapels, front where the buttons and buttonholes are, cuffs, and belt. Those areas need to have interfacing. It would give the coat shape and make it so much better quality. I don’t know why so many garments lately have no interfacing. It has been a standard in decades past. Now it’s gone. Sizing way off. Returning. I am XL and ordered a medium and it was swimming on me. The sleeves are odd; balloon sleeves and very short. Wide sleeves that come about 5 inches above my wrist. This baggy look is like a drape or curtain. Not flattering. The fabric is nice; medium weight and nice chocolate color brown. Cant deal with the short sleeves and huge body. Feels like swimming in a balloon. Too bad because the color is lovely. Read more
