Wow! Almost can't believe how awesome this set of acrylic paint markers is! To start off I'll be honest -- I'm not normally a fan of dual tip anything. Normally if something is dual tipped one side dries out and stops working and is completely useless. So I normally avoid them like the plague. However, since this was a product that I could receive free in exchange for an honest review -- I thought, why not I'll order it. I'll try it and and I'll probably not be impressed. Boy, was I wrong! First off this set comes packed in a very sturdy card board box. It's well constructed and it's even cute! Tanmit didn't skip on the design. They could have thrown it into a plain white or brown box but they didn't. It makes me think that the company actually cares about art! Secondly the markers themselves come in a case that is actually quite brilliant. There are several levels to the case and several clasps. It looks a little complicated at first but once you figure it out it's awesome! You can take each detachable tray and separate it. You can detach only a single tray if you want -- I've included an image of the instructions and the case. I love the way it works. If you only have a small workspace you can use this set and have access to just what you need. The pens are in the case in numerical order but you could reorganize them how ever you want. Brilliant design! Third, this set comes with two different do it yourself swatch sheets. One of them is on black paper and the other is on white paper. It allows you to test all of the colors and to see how they will look on both dark and light colored paper. It also comes with cards that are basically like test coloring sheets. I filled out one of them and included a photo of this as well. The markers are named (color names) and numbered. There is also a sticker sheet so that you can put the numbers on the marker caps. It's so that you can see the numbers through the side of the clear case. All of the extra cards, stickers, swatch charts, and instructions come in a well constructed envelope to keep them together. Finally, the markers -- I am very impressed at how well they cover. Both the fine point and the brush sides worked perfectly out of the box. The paint flow is very uniform from the pen side and very brush like from the brush side. When I filled out the swatch sheets I used the fine point side on the white page and the brush tip on black sheet. As you can see from the swatch sheets certain colors do no cover as well as others on the dark paper and may require a second coat. The paint dries quickly and covers well. I'm excited to use these more and try them on different surfaces. This set is definitely worth the money and the more I use Tanmit products the more I like the company. I think they really care about making a quality product. If you are looking for a great set of acrylic paint markers this is the set for you! Read more
