Great bands, get the six pack

These are by far the best mini-bands I have tried. First of all, their shorter 9 inch length is much better than the more common 12-15 inch ones. This is because you engage the resistance sooner. With the longer bands you have to spread your legs a bit to tension them. However, for the majority of motions like walking, running, etc, you aren't moving with a big gap in your legs. The 9 inch bands will engage your muscle all the way through the range of motion. The second big thing is that these don't catch your leg hairs. The thinner wider latex-y feeling ones are a pain to get on and off. These are more like rubber band materials and don't stick as much. The feel thicker and more substantial. I do suggest buying the 6 pack if it's still available on amazon (it's out of stock at this writing). The per band cost comes out to a lot less, like 60-70% less I think, and you get a nice set to progress with. Read more
