It's very convenient to tape off areas (e.g. kitchen appliances) from paint splashes; I assume it would be good for other uses too. The only thing to watch is that you must not unfold the plastic sheets before cutting. Apply the tape edge down as far as you need to use it and then cut off that section from the roll. Only then should you unfold the sheeting. Otherwise, you have a much more difficult section to cut off. Read more

Wow! Glad I came across this stuff. Works great. I removed the popcorn ceiling from my bedroom. This was good to keep closets from collecting that dusty stuff then went on to paint the ceiling and this stuff sticks to your wall and keeps it protected.
