This Bento Box is really wonderful. The steel is surprisingly solid for the price bracket, making it feel like a much more premium item. The dividers are well sized for a bento kit, and it's sturdy enough to carry in a bag and trust it will stay shut. The closing band fits very nicely and closes it tight. The way the top edges of the dividers roll is great for safety, however it does make a slightly hard to clean spot. Still very doable, but personally I consider this a dishwasher item for the high-temp sanitize. However realistically it is probably fine, I am just very paranoid about food safety. The included stainless cup and lid is nice, and is spill-proof. I eat rather large meals, probably more than expected for a little bento box, and this easily handles them. Overall in the $25 price bracket this is a FANTASTIC value, and I'm planning to order several more. Read more

Bought this for my son and honestly? I’m impressed. The stainless steel feels sturdy, it looks like it can dent easily with a drop but I can say that for most of my son’s lunchboxes. The compartments actually keep food separated so there’s no rogue grape invading the sandwich. The leakproof condiment container is clutch. This is best used for dry items, nothing with liquid or sauce because it is not leakproof. My kid loves it, I love that it’s plastic-free, and somehow his lunch looks photo ready in this while mine is still chaos…..then again, I spend my life making his life look Pinterest-y complete with heart shaped cucumbers to accompany his charcuterie lunch while I throw mine in whatever vessel, food safe or not…seriously, this phenomenon should be studied in parents…but I digress. One thing to note is there’s no latch, just a silicone band. It works well, but my son is 4 and I’m not totally convinced he has the dexterity to get the band back on by himself. This is a great little bento box! It’s for kids so it’s small. But I use it for veggies/cheeses/fruits as a little snack box in addition to my sandwich or leftovers and it’s perfect. Great quality steel. I’ve washed it several times in the dishwasher and it’s like new. I do recommend washing the lid by hand though. Read more

Such a compact bento box. Love that the compartments are of good size - there aren't too many or too many oddly shaped ones that become useless. I appreciate the condiment container and the silicone lid for that and rubber band to keep everything secure. The stainless steal is very durable and easy to clean. Great for all types of lunches you could pack. Read more
