Easy to use, and does the job for checking meat temperatures when I cook. The display is easy to read without my glasses on, but i do wish the display was backlit for grilling in the dark. The temperature read is nearly instant when I use it, and I don't have to wait over a hot grill for a manual thermometer. Temperature stick is easy to clean with a damp cloth, but I wouldn't submerge the whole thing in dishwater - that would fry the electronics. Overall...a good thermometer, and I will probably purchase a couple more to have in my camper, and tent camping kit. Read more

My dad has the same thermometer and his is awesome! I’m so disappointed in mine. It won’t stay on—just flickers in and off. I’ve now had it for two months and have tried everything. I’ve tried replacing the battery, adjusting how tightly the case is closed, holding the buttons for varying lengths of time. Nothing works.
