I'm always freezing, so when I saw these pants, I wanted to give them a try. When I first put them on, the lining felt cold against my skin, and I thought I wouldn't like them without a base layer, but they warmed up quickly. I wore them all day with no issues and found them to be very comfortable, warm, and cute! I am 5'5", 165 pounds, apple shaped, and Amazon recommended a size Medium, so that's what I ordered even though my waist is 31". I'm very happy with the way they fit, and I have room for a wool base layer if I want. I love the style - they are flattering, the pockets are deep, and I especially like the little toggle detail under the pockets. Good quality, thinner than expected though, but very warm, cozy, while still being airy.. I ordered a L and it was too big for me but I usually wear a M so I’d say get your regular size.. I sized up since the fitting of the pants looked tighter than I would’ve preferred when I watched product videos but M would’ve fit me perfectly or even a S would’ve.. even if I sized down I would’ve definitely been able to wear thermals underneath comfortable.. Update: I've washed these several times and they look great. They are really warm; I wore them when I was out shoveling snow. I love wearing them on the weekends. These pants are very comfortable and warm and have deep pockets. I really like them! They look better on me than I thought they would.
