The media could not be loaded. Material is good. The design of the waistband is good. No clips, buttons or snaps. Just pull the pants up and get going or when you need to take them off or pull them down, just do so without fussing with buttons, clips or snaps. The ankle cinches are OK if you are going to go hiking where bugs could go up your pant legs and that is what the pants are actually for, but these pants do not come in petite sizes (regarding the length) and the pants just don't work right for a person who has shorter legs than the pant-leg length is meant for. It also has an awkward look. It would cost quite a bit to have the pants professionally hemmed to fit me right and also have the hem lanyard strings and cinch clips put back in. I do not care for the zippered pockets. Zippered pockets are good to prevent items inside from falling out but then the downside is that the zippers can scrape against your hands when you reach inside the pockets and also these kinds of active-wear pants sould also be good to lounge around in thus the zippers can feel uncomfortable pressing against your skin. Zippers anywhere on pants can also be an inconvenience in other ways. Sometimes if you have to go through metal detectors at airports or other places where there are metal detectors, metal zippers may set them off. But also, let's say you have to have your hips or legs X-Rayed (I have had leg surgery). It is convenient not to have to remove your pants and often, you have to if your pants have zippers especially a lot of them. Sure, you can use certain other kinds of pants that don't have zippers if you are going to be X-Rayed, but I notice it has gotten hard to find active-wear types of pants without ankle zippers or cargo-pocket zippers or pocket zippers. If this pant also had a non-zippered style it would be great. I did decide to try these knowing they had a zippered cargo pocket and back pocket but I knew the regular pockets had no zippers. I wanted to see if these are OK enough for me. But they are also too long. Now the drawstring. I dislike drawstring pants in general. Often the tension of the elastic waist is enough to prevent the pants from falling down as you wear them and drawstrings make the waist less low profile. I think this pant , because of the zippered pockets and the drawstring and the cinch clips at the hems have too many features that I do not need. Again these pants are for hiking so I should expect these such when you are roughing it and on the go in the wilderness or mountains but I mostly would need these to be a general use go-to pant and the features don't cut the mustard for me.. I have to send these back but I would recommend them for a person who is of the right height and who likes the particular items on the pant. Read more
