There is no puzzle to connecting these “Puzzle Floor Mat Tiles”: They fit together easily. Each tile comes with 2 finishing (smooth) edges that can be removed and replaced in about 3 seconds. While the pieces ‘lock’ together easily they are not attached as securely or as cleanly as some other floor tiles I’ve used. With the pieces provided you can create square and rectangular shapes with smooth edges, but there are not enough edge pieces to create a long mat that is just one mat wide, uses all the tiles, and has finished edges all around. The mats are not made of polyethylene foam as the vendor claims, but rather EVA foam -- a similar, more resilient product -- according to the manufacturer’s information provided with the mats (see photo). EVA foam is a durable, lightweight, closed-cell, waterproof material that has high resistance to many chemicals and moisture. The foam density used in these mats provides good cushioning, shock absorption and insulation. The dimensions given for the mats is 23.6” which is the length from an indented portion to a protruding portion, although connecting 4 mats with edge pieces on all sides creates a square a little larger than 4 x 4 feet: 4’ 0.8” x 4’ 0.8” to be exact. The maximum thickness is 1/2“, as indicated. Read more

I used this product to do an entire room in the basement where I’ve had water issues. Didn’t know if it was going to be such a good idea at first but I love it. Fits together tightly and easy to put together, and it looks great. I bought the 1/2” and the cushioning is perfect, even on top of a concrete floor. Easy to cut with a carpet knife. Did an entire 12x13 room for less than $200. If you were going to put it in a weight room I’d go with a thicker tile but for what I used it for it’s perfect. Read more
This interlocking foam mat comes with 6 panels, 3 panels can make up to be the size of a yoga mat. The panels don't stick to the floor when they will move when you work out on them. I use them as extra cushion for my yoga mat and also to put my treadmill on to protect the floor. They provide good enough cushion that I can feel comfortable running on the treadmill without feeling the floor shaking. Read more

This foam mat come in a bundle of 6 large mats of 4 square feet each. These are dense 1/2 inch foam. Because the whole kit is 24 square feet, I actually separate these into two sets. One set I use as floor workout mat. The mats are non-slip and do not come apart once connected. I'm able to use three mats for my whole body length. When not in use, I can collapse them and hid them against the wall. The other half I use for my old dog next to his sofa stairs. My old dog sometimes forgot his age and jumped off the sofa instead of using his stairs. These mats soften his landing and give him a little runway. Both myself and my old dog appreciate and like these mats. At its current price it's a great value. Read more
I ordered 2 different sets of foam tiles like this, from 2 different companies. Both are exactly the same aside from the color, including the product labels. Both are distributed by Torin. Both are decent foam floor mat sets. These provide a nice pad under my feet. I measured the size of 6 of the tiles connected at 48.5" x 72", which is slightly larger than the advertised 24 square feet. The connections are not super snug and tight. Some are more so than others, but I think that if you have any standing liquid on them it is going to seep between them. I have a set of floor mats similar to these, but with much lower bumps that is made as a kid's play mat and those connections are much tighter, and still I wouldn't count on that to keep a liquid on top. I found the thickness to be less than 1/2". I measured in a few places, trying to measure to the high points on top and was just not getting 1/2". Overall, I'd say this is still a nice foam floor mat, but those last 2 points are why I am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5. Read more
