After surgery must have

CustomerSeptember 25, 2025

These are awesome for knee surgery. When you have a big brace on it's hard to get pants to fit over and it's inconvenient to take your brace off. These just Velcro on and off. They wash easy and are holding up really nice. They are pretty soft and nice and thick but not to hot. Very good quality material. This is a after surgery must have. Read more

Useful, But Could Use a Few Improvements

LuLuSeptember 1, 2025

I am 5'6", 165 lbs. I usually wear about an XL or 10-14 in jeans (depending on brand, mostly a 12). there may not have been a size chart when I first ordered (or I missed it), but I think, in this I should have gotten a 2x because of the waist only. The rest is VERY wide. Not a complaint, that makes it easier to get on and off over my boot (broken ankle). Another place I messed up was thinking "snap" meant buttons. It is velcro, and for that I will not deduct. Totally my fault, but I think snaps would have been easier for my purposes. velcro is probably easier for someone with athritic hands I would suppose. These are fairly warm and heavy and wash well - hung dry with no wrinkles and no shrinking. It may help it to shrink a little if you do put it in dryer, but on me, the waist was already tight, and the same after washing. The velcro was a bit cumbersome, but i am sure its that way on any pants like this, just putting it out there. Easier than sliding pants down and up over a cast or boot (or the elderly), but still work. If you are not very careful, the openings between velcro can leave a decent gap. There is one right by the pockets, and you can stick your hands in the wrong leg openings accidentally - the pockets are good ones tho, by the way. These are comfortable, and great for at home. If injured badly enough, I don't think you'll care too much about the openings, as they don't show really private things, if going to Dr, etc.. I wouldn't recommend if shorter than 5'5" (I am 5'6" and almost too long) as they may cause a trip. Otherwise I do think they are fine. They wash well and are comfortable and do the job. I am mixed about the value. This type thing is needed, but I'd like no issues at this price. Read more

Excellent pants

MariSeptember 2, 2025

My mother had a knee replacement years ago and found it so difficult to go to her doctor's appointments after because she didn't want to wear short dresses and obviously couldn't wear pants. She now has another knee replacement scheduled and when I saw these, I just had to get them. She is thrilled with these because you can open them at the leg when needed and then close them and they look like regular pants. The material is soft and stretchy and very comfortable. They can be dressed up or down and the quality is great. I got the gray color and it's a great neutral. They are easy to open and close and fit true to size. Read more

Tear Away Pants for Women

J. A. AbeleSeptember 20, 2025

These tear away pants by VIMIWINI are functional for anyone who has had surgery or a medical issue that requires adaptable clothing. There are several size and color options. The material is a soft cotton-poly-spandex blend, but there is not a lot of stretch in them. I wanted to use these pants for after knee replacement surgery, so my Dr. could have access to my knee without me having to undress or wear a dress. The Velcro closure tabs are spaced evenly from the waist to the bottom of the pants. (There are no buttons as advertised) Although they were comfortable while standing, when I sat down the Velcro came undone at the waist, because there was not much stretch.. It may just be a sizing issue but I could not wear these in public knowing they could open at any time. I love the idea of these tear away pants but would like stronger Velcro, or more stretch at the waist, or an elastic band at the waist that does not open. Overall, I would still recommend these pants for people needing adaptable clothing after a medical procedure. There are comparable pants for less money, so I don’t consider these to be a great value for the money at the listed price of $32.99. Read more

Easy tear away pants for recovery with pockets!

Alex KAugust 28, 2025

These pants seem like a solid choice if you’re looking for comfort and convenience. The tear-away design makes them super practical for recovery days or just when you don’t want to fuss with stepping in and out of sweats. The fabric mix leans soft and slightly stretchy, so they’re cozy enough for lounging but still hold their shape. I love that they come in multiple colors and are machine washable, always a win for low-maintenance care. And they have pockets! The only con I have is that sometimes the velcro is hard to put together on your recovery leg and doesn't line up right, its mostly operator error, but I wish it were magnetic. Still, these are great soft pants! Read more

Breakaway Pants

Jennifer S.August 29, 2025

These break away pants are both functional and look pretty good. They’re comfortable and decent in the softness department too. They have Velcro from top to bottom that keeps them together. These are good if you have a broken ankle or leg. They’re also good for things like physical therapy. Just be careful because the Velcro can come undone when you don’t want it to. Some of it seems stronger than other areas. Overall they’re good pants and they have pockets. Always a good thing. Read more

Super comfortable, warm and soft.

Philip J ShinnerAugust 28, 2025

These pants are amazing for loungewear around the house. The Velcro holds strong and has several rounded strips on the legs. These can literally be divided into to separate pieces (front and back). The rounded Velcro is nice, since it keeps you from getting poked by sharp edges. The material is super soft and warm and the fit was just as advertised. I noticed on the description of this product that they mentioned "snap button", but there are no snap buttons at all. Everything in connected via Velcro. Read more
