These are small, lightweight enough to hang on a keychain (though I wouldn't as they may fall off, get crushed, or just get dirty), and easy to use. There are two ends, a dental scraper and a "polishing" end. The plastic covers screw off to reveal either tool. This is a handy little device. It feels a little too lightweight, perhaps - like maybe it won't hold up in the long term. Only time will tell. The "polishing" end essentially seems to be a very fine grit sandpaper tip. My thoughts on this tool is that if you aren't careful, you may damage your enamel. Typically a trained dental worker scrapes your teeth a couple times a year. This tool could be damaging in the hands of an untrained person. Go light on the scraping and take it easy with the polishing tool. You don't want to do something to your teeth that can't be undone later. Additionally, these seem pretty expensive for what they are (around twenty bucks for two at the time of this review). I'm dropping a star for the price. Note: This product is listed on the sale page as a two-pack, but Amazon sent me two, so I ended up with four total. Read more
