When I see the "Small Business" tag on a product, I expect it to mean it's a small group of people making things like plushies by hand in their garage or something. That's why we support those businesses, right? We like the idea that someone took great care and pride in making their own product for us. If you're going to buy these, make sure you understand you're buying just another mass produced toy. That said, there's nothing wrong with the plushie itself. It's soft, squishy, cute, these are adorable enough that it makes grown men impulse buy them for $10 on sale. That's a good price in my opinion, the materials feel good in-hand, the fur isn't shedding everywhere, the embroidery and stitching is neat, etc. From leg to leg, this plushie is about 170mm wide. The main body is about 100mm wide, and about 100mm tall (without counting the stem at the top). Standing it with the legs supporting it gives it a boost in height of course. I like the size, it's small enough to display anywhere without being distracting and it's big enough that little kids can hug it like a teddy bear for comfort (I mean, assuming they like scary-ass furry spider pumpkins). The plushie is packaged squished flat in a custom-printed vac-sealed bag (to reduce shipping size and for storage reasons at the warehouse, I'm sure) with a unique QR code sticker on it. You can use Amazon's shopping app to scan it and verify that you received the correct item. Personally I like to use my eyes to verify that I received the correct item, but hey, do what you want! Joking aside, the QR sticker probably helps deter counterfeiters...somehow. After taking out the plushie, give it a few minutes to breathe and fluff up again. You may need to knead the body to disperse clumped stuffing and shape it better. Also, it'll vary by plushie, but you may need to iron-out some of the more stubborn creases in the body. With so many designs to choose from, including giant and keychain versions, you're sure to find some you like. Read more
