What a GREAT tool for those of us who need help getting things off the floor, or from high places, or worry about whether our grabber can lift what we need! I've bought MANY grabbers but I wish I had known about this one before now! It expands to a whopping 41 inches, really handy for hard to reach places. But it shrinks back to 23 inches to store conveniently on my walker. And I am never afraid it will drop my vitamins, trousers, or bulky yarn. The magnet is handy for -- ehem, "finding" my crochet hooks or needle -- or picking up metallic items. Good grip strength. Sturdy build. Light weight. Cute blue color. Read more
This is a GREAT little Nabber-grabber! Since you can telescope its handle AND it has little curve to the thumb trigger, it hangs nicely from the armrests of a walker! 👍 The magnet is so handy and the grabber clamps nicely around a jar or pinches a piece of paper or fabric equally well! I’m ordering a second one right now! 👍 Read more

Works as described but the orange tabs to lock telescoping sections are not easily set into place. Read more
This is a most wonderful tool for a post double mastectomy individual. I have 2 cats and wanted to do as much as I possibly could on my own upon my return home. I use clay cat litter which can track outside the box. I kid you not, this grabber does pick up those tiny bits of litter scattered on the floor. I was impressed! I am an admitted perfectionist and this tool allowed me to continue to be that even if not able to reach as high or bend as low until the healing is complete. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It is telescopic, the grabber head can turn either way, it's not heavy, but can lift larger items well. Read more
can be used even while extending/retracting. very handy when extra length is needed, and short when long is in the way. Read more
It's tough. I was afraid I broke it already coming home from the store and had it behind my back. But it can take a hit. It's still a little difficult to use to grab things on the top shelf at the store (because all the store brand stuff has to be out of reach), because it doesn't open wide enough to grab a box, or it's a bit awkward to. Also, with the pain in my hands, it's still not easy. But I was able to get the store brand coffee creamer and the bottle of creamer fit perfectly in the grip. They even have their creamer on the top shelf and in a corner, making it even harder for a wheelchair user to access. But now I can get it with the grabber. It also has a pretty long reach, which let me grab some pens that had fallen behind my desk. Read more
In the first few minutes of trying this grabber out, it broke. Evidently the holes in the aluminum tube where the pin is supposed to go when you adjust the length make weak points in the tube. It is not durable. Trying to lift a towel from the ground caused it to snap completely apart at the hole location. So I cannot recommend this item based on this one trial and I will try to return it as defective. Because of that I’d try a different one. I got a telescoping one at Menards and that one seems to work fine (so far) but I still think the hole is a weak point for lifting very heavy things so I might go with a different style, like a fixed length or folding version if I got another one. Also, the magnet is on only one of the tips, and it's not strong enough to lift a few keys on a key ring. It can lift a screw or a nail but nothing much heavier. Finally, the trigger is plastic and there is a lot of flex in the trigger handle once it clamps down, meaning it can clamp down with a certain force but no more. A metal trigger or a harder plastic one would be better. The "cable" in this one is braided nylon or something like that, not a steel cable/wire. It can lift a big phone battery recharger pack (I tried it even though the tube was split. I did not try it with a can of food or anything that heavy. The trigger on the Menards grabber didn't flex and just pulled the cable harder when you squeezed harder. Read more
