Update: 11/30/31: This bad boy worked wonderfully. Every other day on the dot for nearly 9 months. I even traveled with it. Used it exclusively in the shower with either shave gel or balm. Max time it took to get a nice consistent shave is about 3 mins. Yesterday morning after 30 seconds of use I noticed what sounded like a high pitch grind coming from it, definitely not the smooth shave sound I've heard from it. I cleaned it, oiled it the turned it on and the sound was still there. I tried to continue as I was halfway done and struggled through. The shave was inconsistent and I had to go over my head several times. I think a blade or something may have bent somewhere. Who knows. I've dropped this thing a few times which is why my rating stays at 5 stars. I definitely recommend it for all my bald head buddies looking for a solution to the expensive stuff or Gillette blades. I'll be buying a replacement for sure. Only con: DON'T USE THE NOSE TRIMMER. It doesn't cut cleanly. A few times you'll feel a pull on your hairs. Initial unboxing 3/1/21: nicely packed, looks to be fully charged upon receiving, digital screen says 90 minutes remaining. Nice case, looks to be a hard neoprene of some sort, has a separate pocket for the charger or whatever else you need for travel (toothbrush, travel toothpaste, small cologne, small lotion... maybe a few of those but not all will fit. The last shaver I bought was somewhat similar to this, though didn't look as nice, lasted about 5 months before it started to turn on randomly after using it every other day. I had to destroy it after it turned on 3 times in the middle of the night. Frequent use in the shower must of affected it. Hopefully this one holds up for longer. I value a smooth head, just don't want to use electric clippers any more or a blade. Read more
This electric shaver is amazing, I have been using a 3 blade razor for the past 25yrs and just recently decided to try an electric shaver for the very first time. I am 56yrs young and I am a Fitness & Wellness Trainer and a Black male so getting the right electric shaver for myself took some research. I decided on the Telfun Shaver after researching all the electric shavers that were available from all pricing points and for me it isn't ever about price but always about the best results. Black men have always had a problem with shavers because of our hair mostly growing back ingrown in our skin but this electric razor is the best and I plan on buying and additional one so that I can alternate them with each other every week. It is very easy to clean in running water and purchase a additional blade when you decide to buy. I shave my head and face once a day and this electric razor is just great, I haven't used it in the shower or emerged it in water and I won't eventhough it says it is water proof, I just don't want to take the chance of it stop working, but I do use it wet everyday with shaving cream on my head and face and it works great. The battery life is great also, I keep it charged after every use and this electric shaver is very easy to use. It has been 30days for me since I purchased it and was definitely a good investment, the travel case that it comes in is nice so I have nothing negative to say, it's definitely worth the investment. This little razor is big on action. I have Parkinson’s and have a hard time shaving my head, but this little hand held gem has made it easier to do. The added bonus of the ear/nose hair trimmer is fantastic. It also works very well. At this time , I have not tried any of the other attachments. I only just got this, so I can't say if it's durable or will hold up over time. What I can say is that this razor is a life changer!! I have stubborn leg hair and sensitive skin. It's a really bad combination. Women's razors don't cut close at all and I'm left with leg stubble right after I shave. Men's razors cut great, but even with sensitive skin shaving cream, I end up covered in razor burn. I tried this out dry for my first test run. I have a great clean shave and no razor burn! Incredible, I 💜💜💜 it! I haven't tried any attachments but it comes with a good selection that my son can also use. This razor is also completely ergonomic. It's very light and you don't have to put any pressure on it to get a close shave, which makes it really easy on the hands and wrists. All the blades combined roll smoothly over any surface, even knees. Although you may have to go over tough spots a couple of times, like knees and ankles. I read other reviews, so one I finished one leg I did take a break and cleaned out all the blades. The blades were pretty covered in hair so I think pausing to clean them helps. Read more
