Worth the extra money.
Stellar product and I am very happy with it. It is fairly heavy so I got some help to move it upstairs. It does tend to slide on the carpet when your wheel rolls off its edge, then try to bring it back fully on. But not walking on it, or trying to move it with your feet. Very safe, looks classy and beats the heck out of plastic! Read more
Very nice and strong for carpet
I've had 4 desk chair rug protectors, this one is the best. More expensive than most but it is worth it. As I have been using it for a few days with my old desk chair. It's amazing Very easy to roll with my chair!! I used to have to push myself away from the desk on the old mat. Now it just glide's across the mat and I don't trip over the edge anymore Great,as I'm well into my 70s. Very smooth edging and superior strength! Would recommend highly Read more

The floor map is durable and works great...
The floor mat works great on my carpeted floor. The thing is heavy duty and it is big and heavy. My biggest issue was the packing. it was packed with lots of thin Styrofoam and it broken up and was everywhere for a while. It was annoying. Read more
Exactly what I expected..
Mat actually arrived a day early. Unpacking is not easy but not hard either as the packaging was very sturdy cardboard and was taped VERY well, which took time to cut due to size and weight. Once the package was open the packing styrofoam which sandwiched the mat was very fragile and broke very easily causing a large amount of highly static charged pieces of foam to spread out everywhere. Floors were not a problem but the the little pieces of charged foam stuck to your clothes and hands like glue and were almost impossible to remove. Had the wife close by with a small vacuum which did the trick of getting the small pieces off my body and clothes. Once the unpack was done it was easy to place the mat. The difference between this mat and the old plastic one I was using is unbelievable, I have to watch myself or I roll off the mat without thinking as there is no wheel resistance at all like on the old plastic mat. Amazing product! If you've every had a plastic chair mat, you know that it will eventually crack and be a disaster to try to roll around on. Buy this, and forget about using a plastic one ever again. It's worth it to buy nice, instead of buying twice. This glass mat is thick, somewhat heavy, and the perfect size to roll around on, while still providing space under your desk for your feet. It's glass, so you can see right through it. If you lay it on carpet, it's as simple as unboxing and laying it down. If you put it on hardwood, make sure to include the plastic feet they give you so it doesn't move. Read more
