OMG should have done this a million billion years ago. I didn’t even know glass chair mats were a thing. If you work from home on carpet and use the plastic kind, this is a game changer. You’ll also want to upgrade your chair to the rollerblade style wheels. I don’t always shop by price but I did this time and this was the cheapest one. If either of the sizes available fit your space, I'll say buy it. It arrived undamaged and provides a nice hard surface on my carpet for my office chair. It looks nice and is plenty strong enough to withstand 235lbs of me and ~40lbs of my office chair on thick carpet. And after a few hours of it being in place, it sunk in to the carpet just enough to generate an impression in the carpet that keeps it from moving around. The edges are nicely beveled and the corners nicely rounded so no worries about stubbing a barefoot toe or catching the edge of a shoe sole and tripping. I only wish this came in 32"X54". If it did, I would have purchased 2 of them. As it is, because I needed one 32X54, I bought a hard clear plastic one too. This glass one is superior in every way except how it fits the way my space is designed... and they cost within a few cents of each other. So, I'll say it again: If either of the sizes of this glass chair mat available from this seller fit your space, go ahead and buy it. You won't be unhappy with it. Read more

Does exactly what it should. I kept the little plastic pieces that were affixed to the edge during shipping. I use these as additional protection and as a way to feel that my chair is getting close to the end of the glass. I do know that the glass is small, especially width, for your typical desk chair, but if you are limited on room like me, it does the trick! Read more

Very quality product. Thick glass, chair rolls well. I am surprised at the thickness of the glass considering it's reasonable price. If I have one complaint...and rated it 4 stars is the edges are not beveled. When a chair wheel drifts off the edge..you kind have to boost it back on the glass. But maybe if you bevel the edge..it would chip....I don't know. I'll get used to getting my chair back on the glass. Read more

I'm very pleased with the 60"x48" mat so far. It gives my space a modern look and my chair glides effortlessly on it. The size is just right for rolling back and forth without going off the edges. I have it on medium pile carpet with a file cabinet, a heavy-ish office chair (Aeron), and myself weighing 187 lbs. I'm still a little nervous about walking on the corners and have been avoiding that, but it does seem to be very strong tempered glass, despite only being 1/5" thick.
