I received this for Christmas from my daughter. I love cats, so that's the first thing But it is well made, has a flip top that locks, and an extra mouthpiece if you want to "Gulp" water instead of "Sip". Yes it comes with a straw. it holds 24 oz of water, so that's half my goal for water intake. And it fits in my car cup holder without being top heavy. Highly recommend the Tervis Brand.
