These appear to condition the water. They dissolve easily and for a few days the water is clear and clean and does not smell. I think there should be at least four in a pack rather than three because for smaller tanks you would only need two which would mean you had an extra one to which you would have to buy another pack to use again. I can understand them wanting people to buy again but if it works well, people will buy again. However, it would be better to have more in a package. Read more
