Being a newbie user of Linux os, I was surprised how easy it was to get it working. I simply installed a webcam pack, which I think were necessary commands to run this camera. I opened a browser to test on a mock teleconference, and it worked right away. Clear and bright image. I have not used it in a real conference yet, so I can't comment on the build-in mic's sound quality. I would still prefer a headset instead of that. I like that it comes with mini tripod.
