I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these sheets! Yup, they're pricey, and they are so freaking worth it! They are smooth, heavy, with that delicious surface feel that makes you just sigh when you slide into bed. The fitted sheet has heavy elastic, and the pockets are deep and perfectly suited to stay put on thick mattresses. They are heavy duty, smooth, and luxurious. They aren't going to wear out. Seriously, I hate it when people gush on and say they are "obsessed" over anything; however, these sheets have ruined us for any others. I won't be ordering sheets from anyone else again. I gave these sheets to all of my adult children as Christmas gifts this year, and everyone one has told me that they were THE FAVORITE gift. I splurged and got a set for the guest room. Every new guest has asked me about the sheets after one night on them. Every guest. So yes, you can get several sets of cheap sheets or one set of long lasting, fantastic feeling sheets that will stand up to washing over and over for years for the same price. No splitting seams. No wearing through. No pilling. No scratchy areas. No contest. They are just THE BEST. Read more
Very nice thick enough, good closure. Love cotton, not hot cool to sleep on. Soft, good quality Read more
Wow. Extremely luxurious sheets. I ordered a king size set for a queen size bed. Why? Because, most sheets say that they are queen with deep pockets, but they never are. Well, not so with the Texas sheets. These truly are DEEP pockets. Nice thick, soft sheets. So, now, I am needing to buy a queen sized set. The king, is too big. Oh, we are using them. They are too good to not do so! Read more
These are very nice pillow cases made of quality 100% cotton. They are generously sized to fit my plump queen sized pillows without being so snug that they are hard to put on, and not so loose that they look sloppy. The pictures accompanying the description, as well as the description itself mention that these cases have an envelope style closure. But they do not. The open ends of the cases are finished with a fairly traditional wide, stitched down hem. The all cotton fabric is tightly woven and has a very soft, silky feel and the sheen expected of sateen bedding. I usually look for a thread count around 400 when purchasing bedding with a sateen weave. Unfortunately the actual thread count was not provided, but these cases do seem similar to some of the 400 TC bedding I already have, so I was happy to find them. They are of a good weight and thickness and are not at all stiff, so I think they will be suitable of all-season use. The cases arrived beautifully pressed and folded, so I almost hated to wash them. Almost. I marked and washed one of the pair to check for shrinkage, how well the fabric and stitching would hold up and how much wrinkling I might expect. I washed the case in cold water using a gentle cycle followed by line drying (which is how I launder all of my bedding). The case did shrink about 1 1/2" in length, but there was no noticeable shrinkage in width. All of that silky smoothness and most of the sheen were gone after washing. In fact, in comparing the pillowcase that had been laundered with the one still in the box, it almost felt like a completely different fabric. It even felt a little thicker and more durable although it was still very nice and a bit softer, too. The stitching held up well with just a few loose threads here and there, and there were no fabric flaws. The pillowcases are well made but but the construction is a bit odd in that the side seams were stitched after the hem had been completed. Premium quality bedding is typically constructed so the side seams are concealed by the hem, for a nicer finish and to lessen any chance of unraveling. The side seams on these pillowcases are nicely aligned, but will easily come apart with wear and washing. I would consider these pillowcases to be more of a practical choice than anything resembling luxury or hotel-quality. The price makes them a very good value, though. The box as well as the labels sewn into the cases claim that these cases are made of 100% Egyptian Cotton. First of all, Egyptian Cotton is a rare and very expensive fabric that I wouldn't expect to see at this price point. Secondly, all products claiming to be made of 100% Egyptian Cotton must display the official seal of the Egypt Cotton Association, certifying them as genuine. There is no such seal. I took off a star for this reason. Read more

So got a pillow case from them first, and it was amazing so I got the sheet set. They claimed deep enough to go over any mattress… the fitted sheet does, but you cannot tuck the regular sheet to make the bed. If you’re a military guy like me, you know how irritating it is when you can’t make “hospital corners” and make your bed super clean and tight. The sheets were not anywhere near as soft as the pillowcase I got, and I purchased the higher end sheets (2000 series). Pretty disappointed after spending the money. Got the MyPillow Giza Dream sheets for a little cheaper, and they were much softer. Even more bummed this is a Texas company. We’re supposed to be bigger and better down here after all. Still decent sheets which is why I’m not giving 1 or 2 ⭐️, but for top of the line, I expected more. Read more
